Melksham Library hosts several regular FREE events and activities including:
MONDAYS
- Barclays Drop-In, 9.30am-4.30pm (Closed 1pm-2pm)
- Family Hubs Navigator with Spurgeons and All Together (Wiltshire Council Family Hubs), 10am-12noon- Family Hubs are here to give support and guidance to all Wiltshire families and young people aged 0-19, as well as up to 25 for those with special educational needs and disabilities.
- Story Time and Fun Sessions for Pre-School Children, 11am-12noon- Take out books, join the Story Sharers Club and explore the fun, interactive learning resources in our lovely library. No booking required for these FREE, weekly sessions.
- Games Sessions, 2pm-4pm- Funded by Multiply, Wiltshire Council. If you can't make Mondays, board games are still available to play. Just come and ask at the desk, where you can sign out a game of your choice. Community jigsaw puzzles are also available to take part in.
- Family Board Games, 4pm-6pm- Drop-In Sessions for ages 5+.
TUESDAYS
- Baby Rhyme Time, 11am-11.30am- No booking needed, just turn up!
- FREE Digital Support Drop-In Sessions. 1pm-3pm- No need to book, just pop in and see their wonderful volunteer Steve for all your digital needs! (Bookable digital support sessions are also available with Hannah on Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoons. Call Melksham Library on 01225 702 039 for more information.)
- Drop-In Lego Club, 2pm-4pm- Booking not required, however spaces are limited.
THURSDAYS
- Toddler Rhyme Time, 11am-11.30am- No booking needed, just turn up!
- First Thursday of the month- Wiltshire Sight Social Group, 1pm-3pm- Do you know someone who is losing their sight or is living with sight loss? If you know of anyone who would be interested or would benefit from this session, do encourage them to pop along where they will be warmly welcomed. - Second Thursday of the month- Melksham Library Book Group, 6.30pm-7.30pm
- Fortnightly- Crazy About Knitting 'Knit and Natter', 2.30pm-3.30pm- This session runs on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month for approximately one hour. All ages and abilities welcome, come and have a go!
- Last Thursday of the month- Victim Support Wiltshire Drop In, 10.30am-12.30pm- FREE and confidential drop-in sessions. If you, or anyone you know, would benefit from this service, please do encourage them to pop along. For more information or support click here.

- Last Friday of the month- Mental Health Drop-in Support Hub, 11am-1pm, with Rethink Mental Illness - Wiltshire Mental Health Inclusion Service
- Second Friday of the month- Friday Readers Book Group, 3pm-4pm
