**Melksham Town Council Announces September 2024 Grants Allocation**

Melksham Town Council is pleased to announce the latest allocation of Regular Grants to support community groups and organisations within the town.

A total of £3,191.50 has been awarded to Regular Grant recipients in the September round of applications. These grants were approved during the recent meeting of the Finance, Administration and Performance Committee held on Monday 9^th September 2024.

The following organisations were awarded Regular or Assembly Hall Room Hire Grants:

- Back on Track- Stroke Rehab Service= £1,000

- Melksham Foodbank= £700

- Wessex Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre= £700

- Wiltshire Mind= £250

- Youth Adventure Trust= £249

- Melksham Community Larder= £112.50 (Room Hire for Clothes Swap event on Sunday 29^th September!)

- Melksham Music Festival Ltd= £180 (Room Hire for Melksham Monster Ball on Saturday 26^th October!)

The next round of Regular Grant applications is now open and will close on Friday 18^th October 2024 to be heard by the Finance, Administration and Performance Committee on Monday 4^th November2024.
