About the Centre

Built in 1969 and originally funded by Melksham and Corsham Round Table, the Melksham Riverside Centre is an ideal venue for regular events and occasional private hires.

Situated just off Bath Road near the river with its well-equipped kitchen facilities and disabled access, it can provide up to 60 persons with a perfect venue for a range of events.

The Centre currently hosts regular events for Celebrating Age Wiltshire, Melksham Rock Choir and Rock and Roll Dance lessons. For more information on current clubs and events visit the Riverside Centre on Facebook or their website.

Volunteering Opportunity- Melksham Riverside Centre Charity

Chris Pickett, the Chair of the Riverside Centre says:

"The Committee are the main volunteer group, however there are often opportunities for others to volunteer at fundraising events.

Help is needed with bar work or serving food, collecting raffle prizes and running the raffle, or helping with general maintenance.

The Committee meets 4 times a year with working parties for specific tasks."
