We regret to inform you that, due to strong winds and rain, today’s Christmas Lights Switch-On event has been cancelled. The safety of our residents and visitors is our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding.

Although we can’t gather in person, you can still join us virtually! Tune in to our LIVE feed from 17:45 to watch the Lights Switch-On at 18:00, hosted by Melksham News. The Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Melksham will also be sharing a special live message to mark this festive occasion.
⭐ Special Moment:
We are pleased to announce that Ciara, the winner of the Mayor's Christmas Card Competition, will have the honour of switching on Melksham’s Christmas lights!
🎅 Santa’s Grotto Update:
If you have already booked a session for Santa’s Grotto, we will be contacting you today to arrange a new time for your visit. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us via email at assemblyhall@melksham-tc.gov.uk.
