The Melksham Splash Pad is undergoing an extensive makeover following its busy summer season.
In addition to its freshly painted and powder coated water features, it will be receiving a total resurface during its down time this Autumn. The rocks will also be removed to create a fully level and obstacle-free play area.
Melksham Town Council’s Amenities Team Manager says, “The resurfacing will be completed with high quality rubber in order to extend the lifetime of the Splash Pad, and to provide a more comfortable user experience.”
The Splash Pad is now in hibernation until Easter 2025 and the resurfacing works are due to start on Friday 20th September.
